Circus maximus
This a model of the Circus maximus.
The Circus Maximus was another one of the great places for entertainment in Rome. The Circus Maximus was originally made out of wood, but it kept burning down. They rebuilt it out of cement then decorated with marble. The most popular game there was chariot racing. There was no track. It could seat over 250,000 people, and men and women could sit together. It was also free, and anyone could enter.
